Batboy Publishing is a boutique storytelling and media studio co-founded by Ray Negron and Billy Pinckney. We help athletes, families, and public figures turn real-life experiences into meaningful children’s books that inspire the next generation.
From concept development and writing to illustration, design, and publishing guidance, we provide a hands-on creative process centered on authenticity, purpose, and impact. Every story is created to entertain young readers while sharing lessons about perseverance, leadership, kindness, faith, character, and overcoming adversity.

Ray Negron
Ray Negron is a New York Times bestselling author and two-time Emmy Award–winning producer. He is a former professional baseball player and a member of the New York State Baseball Hall of Fame, but his greatest role will always be as a batboy for the New York Yankees. For decades, Ray has inspired others through his work in baseball, his books, and his strong dedication to helping young people.

Billy Pinckney is an author, speaker, former batboy, and current interviewer of athletes who turned his love for baseball into a mission to inspire the next generation. With over a decade in professional baseball, he visits schools, shares stories, and writes books focused on leadership, kindness, and faith. He is committed to encouraging young people to work hard, stay curious, and believe in themselves despite the challenges they may face.
